EVENT SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Event Support Volunteers will assist Chelsea Collaborative staff at workshops, clinics, and community events to welcome guests, conduct intakes for those seeking services, collect attendee data, distribute information, and manage overall flow of people through events. Volunteer schedules are flexible, and training will be provided.

YOUTH SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed to provide direct support to youth through the Chelsea Collaborative’s Middle School Art & Literacy Program, our After School Academic Support program and our College Readiness Program. All of these involve working with Middle and High School students (often one on one) to support and mentor them. Volunteers are required to spend one afternoon/week (4-7pm) in the program. Training will be provided.

INTAKE SPECIALIST VOLUNTEERS

Intake Specialist Volunteers are needed to gather information from workers and tenants who attend know-your-rights workshops at the Chelsea Collaborative. Volunteers must be bilingual in English and Spanish. The will collect client information, make initial evaluation of the client's situation, and direct the client to the appropriate next steps. Volunteer schedules are flexible, and training will be provided.

OUTREACH VOLUNTEERS

Outreach Volunteers will team up with the Chelsea Collaborative staff and other volunteers to conduct outreach in the community through door knocking, phone banking, and attending community events. Volunteer schedules are flexible, and training will be provided.
