The Chelsea Collaborative was one place that opened the doors for people in the community.
I was trying to help immigrants, mainly the Honduran community, and [the Chelsea Collaborative] was one place that
I could help. I am Honduran myself. People in Chelsea feel comfortable playing in parks, going outside,
and going to church without thinking that immigration will be there having a raid.
We in the Collaborative and in the immigrant community helped Chelsea to ask the government to be a sanctuary community.
The Collaborative is a place where you can find anything you need; and if it is not there, [the Collaborative]
will refer them. They will get help. A person who comes there will not go empty-handed.
